My dog was sick the other week and threw up on the carpet, I cleaned it right away but since then there has been a terrible smell. I have used a bleach solution on the area twice, I have tried washing powder (with a bit of nice smelling fabric conditioner), I have also rented a VAX carpet cleaner and cleaned the whole room! but this smell is still there.
Has anyone got any ideas I could try?
A new carpet is not an option for me at the moment due to money.
