Carpet is quite an old one(think student), there is a fair amout of dirt in it, have tried to clean it before but it really needs a specialsed carpet vaccum which i don't have, all i have is cloth and soap, has to be cleaned by monday. You might say just dab the surface with a wet cloth but the dirt does right through to the floor. The wetter i make it and if i get a good lather going the dirt that comes up in massive and never ending and you just seem to shift it the wet dirt to another area of the carpet. It needs taken outside and hosed!
It the kind of dark fabric carpet where you don't notice it that much but i still need to clean it.
