I am in rented accommodation & it came with carpet all over the house (dusky pink) & I have lived in this house for over a year with a child & yes it has now become dirty (living room), tried carpet washers they are no good!
as it is private rented Iandlord doesn't do much anyway. So I have decided to lay down wooden/laminate flooring, how much would it cost for 8m by 5m? & is it worth it as Im only renting? people have advised me against it & say the landlord should help u but I know what they are like as I have spent lots of money doing the garden & other things in the house as landlord just wont do anything but apart from that I am happy living here & school is nearby & I intend to stay for a few years so I think maybe it would be worth it?
