Yesterday, there was an accident resulting in the aquarium getting smashed and spilling over 50 litres of water all over the kitchen floor. Last night I managed to get most of the water up using towels, newspaper, etc. The carpet is still damp though - what is the best way to let it dry out so no water stains are left on the carpet - should I put the heating on or is it better to leave windows open? Should I carry on using newspaper? Also how long will it take to dry out completely?
P.S. there is concrete flooring.
