We have a lake cottage that does not receive heat at any time, it sits empty through the winter months, and has not been used since probably LATE august- early September. We are moving a bed from the cottage to our home and are worried about fleas that might be at the cottage. will they have all died without a host since September? will they have all died from cold? (it's snowing and has been for about a week...) if we move just the bed what are the chances the fleas are on it? would they live in the bed? or on the floor in the carpet? thanks for your help!
