I was wondering how you know how strong your bond is with your dog.
I have a 8 month old labrador girl who i am completly in love with and I literally would do anything for her.
She is really loving towards me, she is always licking me and wanting to play with me and she is always happy to see me. On a weekend I rarely leave her side from the moment I get up to the moment I go to bed.
She always comes and sits next to me, sits on my lap and falls asleep on me. She has done this ever since she was a tiny puppy, though now she's getting big and is real heavy!!
She always rolls on her back and lets me rub her tummy, isn't that a sign of trust towards you?
She will also lie on her back on the floor and let me lie down right next to her on the floor, and she will stay on her back with her paws in the air and won't mind me being there. She will often fall asleep with her head on mine on the carpet on her back!! That's something I havn't seen in a dog before, because they don't understand the concept of 'friends', just a hierarchy.
But does anybody else have a dog who won't even flinch or mind if you come and lie right down on top of the floor right up close to them, and they'll stay on their back and be happy about it? And not attack you or anything ? Lol
So I was just wondering what you thought of the bond between me and my pup, considering she's quite young and everything.
She also likes to follow me, we go to dog trainign classes together and she will do anything I say straight away!!
By the way I am 14, why do you think she behaves like this me?
We often like 'play fight' together, like another puppy would so does she think of me as sort of 'one of her pack'?
