When I first had my cats as kittens they had lots of accidents outside the litter box. We never caught them at it but presume they were actually standing in the box but accidentally weeing out of it.
The litter box was always kept in my storage cupboard. I scrubbed and scrubbed the carpet but it was slightly stained and I so I took the carpet out but it still stinks!! The floor underneath is just cemented and I have used bleach, floor cleaner and other cleaning products. It smells fine once I'm cleaning it but a few days later the smell comes back.
Also - just incase you think this: the cats no longer have access to the cupboard (for a number of months) so they aren't going in and weeing, making it smell again.
Anybody know any good remedies/ methods of getting rid of the smell?
