I have just bought a large rubber mat for the floor of my kitchen. I've placed it on top of some old (worn) carpet tiles in the hope that it will be okay there and that I shall not have to remove the carpet tiles underneath. ( I didn't put them down, and they look as if they are almost unremovable ! ). I suspect that in due course the thin rubber mat will starft to curl up at the edges , so do you know of some sort of double-sided tape, sold in the UK, that will stick to the underside edges of the (thin) rubber and the top of the carpet tiles to stop this happening? Ideally I'd like something that could be fairly quickly removed if necerssary. Or is there a good type of adhesive that I could use instead? There would be no problem if the underside of the mat or the top of the tiles were stained by my actions. Thanks for any info.
