How can I test whether my cat is an FIP 'carrier'?

Carpet Floors - the soft and comfortable side of living.

Hello,

Recently my 9 month old Bengal caught FIP (effusive) and had to be put down. As the breeder had a 12 month health guarantee she has offered to give me a new kitten.
However, I am scared to get another kitten as I am worried that my other cat, a 3 year old moggy, might be a 'carrier' for FIP or at least for Corona virus.
The kitten never saw any other cats, he was an indoor cat all his life. He only went to the vet twice before getting sick to have vaccinations. My other cat has always been an indoor cat too, and has only had contact with the kitten and one other cat for a few days a couple of years ago.
I had moved recently into a new apartment. Since putting the little one down I have bleached the walls, roof, floor - every surface I could get to.
The breeder is having her cats tested to see if any of them test positive for FIP. Is there any way I can tell that my cat isn't a carrier that may infect a new kitten? Is it likely she's a carrier, is it possible she's a carrier? They shared a litter tray, I got the faeces out of it every day and replaced the litter each week but the kitten got sick while she seems completely fine. By the time I realised he was sick and it wasn't just an allergy to his food his belly had been getting more and more swollen for about a month so I didn't bother separating them thereafter. Is it possible she may have caught it if she didn't pass it on to him? Is it possible he caught it from the vet if he didn't catch it from his mum? Is it possible it was in my apartment? And how long does it take for the virus to die in a house? I have also washed all my bedding with Dettol sanitizer and sprayed the couch and carpet with Oust to try to kill any lingering virus.
I really would love another kitten so my cat has some company as she gets bored and lonely while I'm at work, but I don't want to sentence another little one to this awful disease. Is there anything I can do to be sure?
Thank you
