This morning, I woke up and sat down in front of my dressing table, I got up and put something in the bin, when I went back to sit down, where I had been sitting (there was also a pair of trousers lain over the seat - on there was a maggot-like worm (approx. 10x4 mm) wriggling and squirming on my pair of trousers - not sure if i had been sitting on it, whether it had come off me but why has it appeared. Those trousers haven't been outdoors, and we don't have pets and I wash and shower regularly - it really scares me to think where it has grown from?
From a medical, health, saftey and hygiene point, where has this come from? It's really worrying.....
Also found one stuck to my hot water bottle and it's still alive, which means I must have slept with them - checked the bed sheets, but they seem ok...this is worrying...
Have been cleaning my whole room now and the total has reached about 20 - the rest have been found around the room on the carpet?
Very worried, what can I do? Are there any good carpet disinfectants?
