When I was 8 (10 years ago) I had the day of school as I had broken my arm and was having my cast changed, Anyway I was running in front of my mum and her friend, when I stopped and saw this guy that was crouched down fixing this car that was parked and this van was approaching him and then next thing I knew there was a big bang, They Guy was bleeding on the floor the guy from the van got out and called an ambulance and I screamed.
The man was making gurgle noises and blood was coming out of his mouth I was so scared and all I could hear was this like choking noises The man looked so frightened.
My mum and her friend came running because I screamed and they tried to help the man, Then My mum went to flag down the ambulance. Sadly the man`s lungs where punctured and filled with blood and he died in front of my eyes.
That whole thing seemed to last forever but in fact was probably 10 mins max. The thing is since it happened I used to try and talk about it but its always kind of been brushed under the carpet so I forgot about it and its been about 5 years since I last tried to speak to my mum about it but now for some reason its been haunting me, I have been having nightmares about it often and feel guilty because I saw the whole thing and I wonder If i could have saved the bloke?
I know I should probably just get over it because it happened in my past but I just cant, What can I do, I cant talk to my mum about it, She makes out like it never happened at all ?
Please help?
