Imagine this:
Your spouse is holding a cup of hot tea (although you dont know how hot its),and coming towards the sofa.Somehow,he/she twisted his hand and spilled all the tea on top of the seat where your company laptop is sitting with expensive "fairly new" carpet underneath.Oh,and his/her leg is on top of everything as he/she's trying to sit down.
What's your FIRST reaction to this?
If i give you some "sample" answers,in what order would you place them?
1."oh, are you hurt/burnt?" check how's your spouse.
2."what have you done? is the tea all over the laptop now?!"--it's your company laptop, you don't want to get blamed at if its damaged.
3.grab the cushions, and "angrily" clean the sofa straight away as you're afraid it might have made stains to it.
4. check if the "expensive" carpet is alright as you think you cannot afford to replace it.
What would be your first reaction?
I want to know how others react.no funny comment please.

right,the reason for asking this,because it just happended 20 minutes ago,i was the1 that holding the tea and accidently spilled it.
thats what happened:
1.quickly & angrily removed the laptop to check if it's damaged &dried it,and said things like "what have you done that"?(I NEVER meant to do it as I somehow twisted while sitting down)
2.i responed "the tea only fell on me,nothing got wet"
3. he check if the sofa was stained and threw the wet cushions to the kitchen
3. brought the laptop back after he knew its alright, and "threw" it onto the sofa with anger in front of me
by then,i felt all hurt and said "you can xxxx yourself from now on" then went upstairs to clean myself up,and my leg hurt,it did burn a bit although not seriously.
he came up after and asked "r u burnt"blah blah blah
I just think whatever he said is so fake now
honestly,my 1st reaction would be checkin him out before shouting at other things.
im so hurt
oh by the way,
i didn't moan for a second during that happened as my dear baby is sleeping and i don't want to wake her up.
however, it DOESN'T mean my leg isn't burnt and hurt!!!!!!!!!!!
and now i felt hurt by his reaction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
