Hi, people.
I am typing now using my frozen fingers.
The thing is: I need to buy an electric heater, which is as cheap as possible to run and, if possible, cheap to buy.
I've read quite a bit about the different types of heaters and the cheapest ones so far, and also the less KW/h usage ones are the hallogen models.
However, using logic, these heaters don't hold the temperature if you switch them off. And the oil-filled heaters may spend a bit more electricity but the oil keeps hot if you switch it off and, therefore, the heat still comes out of it for a while.
So my question is: What is the best option? I can't afford anything too expensive as I use those pre-paid meters and the money just disappears from the meters as you switch the heaters on.
My home has wood flooring - not carpets and I am actually freezing to death, slowly and painfully.
The heaters I have here are old and rubbish - they burn electricity as hell and I can't afford running them for a long time.
Please, help! The temperature here, in the morning, is 5 centigrades and in the evening, it is 0 degrees!!!!!! It's colder than the streets!
I am thinking about buying a polar bear as a pet. The dog is already dead!
Any help would be appreciated! And if you want to give me money as well, I'd like you even better!
Thanks!
