I have 6 cats and one is physicaly disabled so he is a constant indoor cat but the others are farm cats but they come in for a few hours in the evening.
I have one litter tray in our mobile home
(we are building at the moment) and i keep my home very clean and when my indoor cat was young i had to clean out his litter tray the minute he had used it as he wasnt very stable on his feet at the time and i didnt want him standing in his dirt also i just couldnt leave the litter tray dirty it would drive me mad.
Anyway now he wont even go in the tray if there is even a tiny bit of wee in it i have to rush to clean it and call him over so he doesnt go on the carpet. Is there anyway i can get him out of this habbit of waiting for me to clean the tray everytime before he will use it.
I know cats dont like going in a dirty tray but most people clean out their trays once a day not 3 times a day. I have changed his litter so its not that i think i have made my cat OCD
