I bought 16m NUMERAR worktop in two separate batches in 2007 the foil front peeled of weeks after being installed an Independent assessor deemed a manufacturing fault and IKEA agreed to replace and fit a new batch of worktop. The kitchen fitter IKEA contracted made an unsatisfactory job of fitting the worktops; he also damaged a new laminate floor, broke garden ornament, dirtied my carpets, damaged the plaster and paint and left my house in a mess. The original independent assessor was sent back to my home to report on the damage and was shocked at the mess and damage that has been done to our home. Ikea have now agreed for us to find our own contractors to complete our kitchen. I?m a so fed up with this situation i just want my dream kitchen back. Also I have been in and out of hospital since December 2008 and the stress is something I could well do without. Has anyone been through the mill with IKEA and can give they give me any advice please
