pretty much about 2 months ago me and my family had a flood after an upstairs pipe burst, to try and save things we moved alot of bits into the front room and lay down towels to soak as much up as possible, we had to call the council out to fix it, the housing officer came out and said because of the state of the house she would be calling social services, until things had dried out there was nothing we could do with the house so yes things were messy and up in arms, that night i had a police officer and a social services woman come out while things were still up in arms and told me the kids have to go to my parents house which has never happened to them before they have never stayed with any one over night so i really wasnt happy but we had to, we were able to sort the house out and dry the carpet and floors as best as i could, the next day they came back out and said it was alot better go and get the kids back, about a week later another knock at the door this time during tea time by another woman from social services, baring in mind i had just put the kids dinner out and had a 1 year old to supervise eating, she said i should just let him get on with it and do all the dishes while the kids are still eating , i pointed out that was stupid incase my youngest son chocked, apparently i was in the wrong and i shouldnt worry about that.., since then weve had so many visits but they seem to lie, take 2 days ago a trainy social service thing but a family suport officer came out and said the kitchen was a mess there were no dishes in the sink the floor was clean nothing on the sides, she then wrote down cat poo on the floor, in actual fact it was a cat litter tray in the corner of the dining room, apparently the kitchen floor was stained yet it was a burn from where the last people who lived here had had a fire and it made a burn in the floor, we had aggressive cats "to many to count" we have 2 cats and while she was here they were alseep on my bed,
after this i scrubbed the front room and kitchen floor and it made no difference the house was perfect given we have 3 children, it really doesnt help that i am pregnant with our 4th and i have started bleeding, i really dont know what to do they seem to make things up and make problems which arnt there, the kids are always clean well mannered fed better than myself! yes the house will get messy with toys (which i have been told should not be on the floor as they are a hazzard!) i really dont feel like i can win this has any one got any advice please?
not sure if this will work she said the bath was filthy the hall way was messy and the front room was a tip i took pics later that night i also forgot to add we had another "meeting" today
