In our flat we have an entrance hall and then a door followed by a longish thin hallway. At the moment we have a wood effect lino down which is slightly orangey in colour and not really to my taste. A pale carpet would be nice but with 2 small children not too practical. Can anyone please give some ideas on what we can put down that is practical yet classy looking and will make the hallway feel bigger? Many thanks. Ps. the walls are pale yellow with white woodwork :-)
