Luke is nearly 2 years old. We ahve had him from 12 weeks of age and he has never been told off or scolded in anyway in fact he is spoilt rotten on sofa beds etc. The problem is though he ignores my partner but when he does go to him he wee's Our dog also wee's with me when i touch or talk to him brush him or put his coller on. It is getting worse and worse and we darent talk to him. He is very clean in the house and i know he is timid. We have never had him in a situation where he is vulnerable He is getting worse and worse he will under no circumstances go to people so we have tryed everything from avoiding eye contact to try and ignore him. Despite how often we clean the carpets the house is actually begining to smell. Luke is becoming very silly and there is no reason. he stopped for a couple of weeks and started again. We both love him very very much but cannot cope much more what can we do.
To elaberate a little more when we say we ignore Luke it is only when he becomes to exited, Also Luke does not just do it with my partner but with me also. he will hardly even go to my partner at all. Also Luke wee's when he gets brushed, coller on, lead on etc. The situation is getting worse and not better which we expected it to do by now. My partner thinks its because i am to soft on him and spoil him to much instead of treating him like a dog instead of a human. Luke has not been castrated however we were thinking about it. Yes Luke is a very timid and nervous dog but with other people i understand but not with us after nearly 2 years. You cant play with him as he will just stand and wee. We do not tell him off in anyway whatsoever for this. We have even had to get leather sofa's as he can sometimes wee on them to. Luke is Housetrained and this is completely different as he is very very clean
Also Luke was at back of pack when we got him never came to us as all the others puppies did the people we got him from just called him grumpy, but he has always done this weeing since we got him at 12 weeks old. So nothing has changed since he has been with us.
