First of all, this is not MY dog. It is my sisters, shes recently had a baby (now seven months old). Her husband has had this dog, (a boy, american bulldog) for his whole life (seven years). They got married two years ago and cowboy(the dog) hasnt had any troubles since, besides a few mysterys.. when the dog was caged/in a small pen constantly he got a mysterious "nerve problem" where he would drag his feet on ocasion, the vets couldnt find anything wrong. They brang him inside and he hasnt had a problem with that since. Now that the baby has been born, cowboys been having some "back pain", once again vets dont know what it is. Within the last month hes stopped eating, slept alot, and has been showing alot of signs of depression. They got him eating again by buying him taller bowls so he wouldnt have to hunch over to eat, and switching his food. But with the baby they're so busy they dont have much attention for him, hes getting yelled constantly for everywhere he lays besides on a certain carpet (because the babies crawling) and since the yelling has started, he pees on the floor when they're sleeping. They've now kicked him back outside full time, and are talking about getting him put to sleep "because of his back". Personally i think hes just depressed?? Ive been doing as much as possible for him and he seems happier. What do you think?
