I live in a 1st floor maisonette and I was wanting a fish tank nothing big just something small like a 2ft tank I plan on putting it on a sturdy side table, I have taken some of the carpet up and the floor is made of wood looks at least 4cm thick and they have a gap of just under half a cm between them do you think my floor will be ok to take the weight it will just have a thin layer of sand in it and a few ornaments?
Sorry I dont think I asked it correctly I will be putting the tank on a sterdy side table it wont be on the floor
