Hi this is the 1st privately rented flat i have had and i am looking at moving on when my 6 month contract is up in April (i have been here 2.5 yrs). I want to move to a 2 bed house as the flat is small for the 3 of us.
I have looked after the proprtey well and when i move what happens about my deposit?
i have heard so many horror stories about them keeping the majority of the deposit for things like cleaning carpets. I am worried as i will need the full £595 for half a deposit on my next place.
Any advice?
