well its me again...the person redecorating her bedroom. a while ago i asked for some redecorating advice from you guys (not only interior designers!!!), but in a different category-the redecorating one obv. if anyone who answered that question is reading this, thanks sooo much!!! i got the most brilliant ideas and the most fabulous answers, all of which were useful-i was only allowed to pick one best answer but, seriously guys, thanks soooo much.
back to the present,however. having picked up some ideas from your answers, i now need an overall theme.
here's what i have to work with:
ripping up the carpet, now have wood floor-any tips on this would also be great!
curtains coming down in favour of homemade ones from fabric of choice-this will contribute to the overall theme so what sort of fabric should i use???
im going to paint the walls so, in keeping with whatever theme you suggest, what colour???
im painting a dressing table i have and plan to cut the mirror to a certain size and fit a frame around it-what colour paint, what size mirror and how to cut and frame a mirror???
so...what i want to know is what sort of unique, but not jarringly crazy, stylish theme should i use with what i have and how can i continue this theme in the things that i need to decide on? also please answer the kind-of sub questions i have above, in keeping with the theme you suggest.
picture and website links would also be helpful, aswell as any other tips you have but really i would just like any overall themesuggestionss!
