We rent....when we moved in the Landlord accepted that the carpet was in a shocking condition...dirty and worn...he said he would either get it cleaned or replaced...he has done neither...we have asked and my partner has even offered to fit flooring if the landlord pays for the flooring...my partner would not charge for his time either....the landlord always comes up with excuses. I don;t see why I should pay when he said he would and it is HIS carpet....I have had stomach bugs and so have others here...I think if kim and Aggie swabbed it they would fins all sorts in there! I have cleaned it a little by hand but it's so disgusting I make no difference. WHat shall I do
