i am going to take out household insurance with the council as it is cheap and can be covered up to £10.000 for £4.36 a month
however i have never had this before and dont really understand what they mean 'old for new ? i have lived at my current address for 8/9yrs and the carpet is wearing thin can these be replaced under the insurance ?
also my sofa is on its last legs and is going to break anytime soon im guessing this will be coverd also will the cost go up a month ?
im not just getting this to do home improvments but my ashing machince broke recently and that hit me hard paying out for a new one on top of xmas
please help as new floor covering is needed and a sofa
