It has not had a thorough clean for about 15 years, ever since my parents moved out of it. My brother had the use of it for that 15 years, and I don't think he cleaned anything at all. Throughout the house there is wood work, or walls or surfaces covered with what I can only describe as a thick, greasy dust carpet. Around the cooker, on the walls etc is impregnated with grease, and the wood around the loo..... well....! When we try to clean it it just makes it worse! My wife is horrified and we don't know where to start.
