The reason is this.. we had the litter box on the carpet.. one time she brushed alot of litter on the carpet an her odor was all over the place. We cleaned it up since then ,but it still lingers because it's embedded in the carpet an pad. We've tried everything even cayenne pepper. Just started trying black pepper.. will try cotton balls/ citrus an mothballs. We've since moved the box an she still goes in the litter box, but once in a while pees on the soiled area.. Any ideas..she's very stubborn.. We have a male cat also an doesn't do anything wrong like this. Anymore suggestion that we haven't tried would be appreciated
