i have a 2 yr old male castrated cat, he has been diagnosed with cystitis. he has had 4 out of 10 of his antibiotics so far and i have just noticed him squatting twice and peeing a little on the carpet. i know it can happen when they have this but im concerned as i have 2 other cats, 1 yrold and 2 yr old, ive cleaned it up and sprayed all sorts to hide the smell if its left but i dont want them to start peeing over the house, they are all indoor cats and always use the trays!
when will the antibiotics kick in and make him pee less painfully? will he continue to pee on the carpet once he's better?any experiences?
