I am thinking of getting a steam cleaner for cleaning carpets, tiles, cooker,car wheels and sterilising .
Reading the manufacturers claims they are a wonder appliance, have you used one?
What did it do well?

How to clean a carpet? Steam? Shampoo? or both?

I have been asked to clean a carpet for a friend and am unsure how to go about it. I have read its not a good idea to get the carpet to wet. I have carpet shampoo and a steamer. Should I shampoo first and steam after? Or steam then shampoo? Or just one and not the other?

I was driving on the motoway this morning at about 70mph, i put my screenwasher on to clean the windscreen and the water was coming through the left vent closest to the windscreen, ie not the ones that face you, but the long ones that meet the windscreen. (if you get what i mean lol).
