I am unemployed at the moment and looking for work or training etc Just back in the country. Anyway, someone suggested ceiling cleaning. I called a company that sells the equipment and they said since smoking was banned most places don't need their acoustic tiles cleaned anymore. Is this true, does ceiling cleaning not have a future anymore? I am also thinking about carpet cleaning. I was told that to start up you need to spend 2000-4000 pounds on the equipment then once you get work you make lots of money. Is this true? Or is their too much competition? I was told that you market yourself with leaflets through people's doors, pubs, shops offices etc
I have plenty of money saved up so could buy this and get an estate car to carry the equipment or preferably a van with a side-opening door. The guy up in Newcastle who i spoke to also said that they offer a one day course. It seems that at my age- mid thirties and wanting to earn some good money quickly this could be a good option. Thoughts?
