Bedroom 2 and 3 and i have ripped all the carpet up and now have an ideal opportunity to fix this problem. My flooring is the tongue n groove floorgrade chipboard but certain areas crack and bang and drives you MAD!!
Freinds staying have been frightened out of their wits at night!!!
I'm wondering if it may even be a joist problem?? though all the noise comes from the studded wall area???
Now if it's a simple problem of just backing up the nails with some screws? my next worry is where will my radiator pipes be??? i have the narrow plastic pipe feeds to the rads and the system was fitted some 5 years after the house was built...
