I've recently had new carpet put in my house and I want to keep it clean...which means no shoes to be worn in the house! I don't want to tell visitors to take their shoes off directly as it's a bit rude but I was thinking of putting up a little comical sign which would basically tell people to take their shoes off in a more subtle way.
Do you have any suggestions as to what I could put on this sign? I did have a couple of ideas such as 'If I wanted shit on my carpet, I would have wiped it around a cow's backside.'
