I live in california and my deposit was $800 I received a check back for $400..the charges were $175 for painting $155 for cleaning and $70 for carpet cleaning. I made sure to leave the apartment as clean as it was when we first moved in so I don't understand why they are charging so much for cleaning and also why are we getting charged for painting?? Can someone please help and give me some answers!
