I've had my kitten sicne she was 10 weeks. At 10 weeks she never itched and I never once saw a flea on her (quite hard to do even now because long hair and all black)..but now all of a sudden 3-4 months later they are everywhere!! No animals have come in contact with her, shes never been outside, and me and my husband are never around other animals. I literally could count 10 fleas just on her face. I started crying because I feel so bad for my little girl :(
I went to pet smart and got flea drops, and home spray, as well as dawn soap. I cleaned the bathroom first, then bathed her and put the drops on.
Is it okay to leave her in the bathroom for a few days to make sure they are gone? I sprayed and vaccuumed the whole house, couches, carpets, everything. and then cleaned all the tables and places she likes to lay on with cleaner and found eggs on basically everything.
I just want to leave her in there so that I can vaccuum twice daily and spray frequently. I have a baby on the way and DO NOT want to bring a new born into a flea infested home.
Is that okay?
