2yrs ago I moved into a flat, the carpets were dirty, which it stated in the lease, I also had to remove other rubbish from the property before I could move in. When I left last month the place was cleaner than when I moved in, but the estate agent took £150 from the bond for cleaning. They advised me they were going to get an estimate for cleaning but never did, they just deducted the money. Can they do this?
