We have a LL from hell! she keeps breeching contract by turning up without warning and complains that we should not have so many clothes?! There are three of us sharing in a house.
Anyway the carpet is very cheap and is really worn...on the stairs there is no pile at all just the backing. However in my room rain came in through the window and left quite a large stain that the rug doctor cant clean up. Plus the carpet has been eaten threadbare by moths in some areas. We did notify them but nothing was done.
Can my LL from hell charge us for a new carpet when we move out? i know she will try so what key words should i use when i dispute it with the deposits agent. There was a signed inventory that noted the carpet was slightly worn in some areas in retrospect i should have taken my own photos. But you live and learn.
