I thought joints were where the bones ...join.
Because my elbows and knees etc don't hurt. But when I am leaning on them or kneeling on my leg bone for example it hurts.
Like every surface feels like i'm leaning on concrete.
Is this some sort of vitamin/mineral deficiency? The Bs? I got tested for diabetes, anaemia (but im not sure, I think there is more than 1 kind?) and thyroid but it was all okay.
I lost some weight and am not sure if it's just because I'm used to having more fat to cusion my joints, and I will get used to it soon? Because bones are sticking out through skin where they weren't before. (no i'm not underweight and I have lost weight slowly, through walking more)
No other exercises or ways to put stress on bones. And I was/am not obese. Just overweight or not happy with being this weight so lost a little, about 4 kg since Christmas.
Back in January I did leg exercises every day and my legs were very itchy on the bone, and then a bit sore. (I was just doing it on thin carpet, no mat) I thought it was shin splints or something since that's where the pain/discomfort was, but I don't think you can get that from leg lifting, only running. But it was sudden exercise started from nothing. When I try to look up sore bones it just keeps coming up 'sore joints'. Thanks for any info or opinions. Maybe it's normal for bones to hurt when you lean on the floor. I am 20 though. (female)
