Ok, in my house, I've noticed an ant problem in the spare room. The room has floorboards but there is a large carpet which covers most of the floor. I have to admit, the room has become a bit of a dumping ground and is very messy with a lot of old paperwork etc. The papers cover most of the carpet and (bad as this is!) I can't see very much of the floor. The ants I have spotted have mainly been spotted on the carpeted area when I've moved some papers, but I've seen them on the floorboards too. I realise I've probably brought this on myself but I just need to know how to stop it! I've been trying to get rid of some of the papers but I keep spotting more. Please help!
