I have had my house rabbit for almost 3 years. We have recently moved house, and I suffer from depression and M.E/CFS and sometimes find it hard to look after myself let alone bunny.
He lives in the kitchen but once or twice a day he comes in the living room for 20 minutes. Any longer than that and he starts chewing the carpet, but at random places so I can't protect it! He also comes in the garden for 5-10mins about 6 times a day. He also gets my company while I am cooking and when me or OH go in or out of the kitchen for whatever reason he gets a head rub and some treats.
Is this enough for him? Or rather, is it a happy enough life that he is better off with me than with someone else?
Thanks :)
PS his basic needs are of course also catered for eg unlimited hay, access to water, clean litter tray, toys
He is also neutered, up to date with injections etc, no worries there
