I got a juwel rio 400 before finding out I would need to move, this tank will wiegh between 450kg-500kg when full, I now live in a tenament flat 2 flights up, I have those mdf panels underneath my carpet, and i would imagine there is concrete underneath them, but that im not sure of yet,
I know from what ive read, that large tanks in flats should be placed so that it lies across the floor beams to spread the wieght and also should be put against a wieght bearing wall,
Has anyone got a large aquarium in there flat here, anything else they did to make sure it was safe
The tank is 5 foot long holds 400 litres and has its own stand, which has 8 black round feet attached under it, I am thinking I should remove these feet
Advice anyone, I dont want to fall out with my downstairs neighbours lol
