I have been renting for just over a year. During that time i have made vast improvements to the property, new carpets and wall-coverings throughout. When i moved into the property there was no flooring to the entrance hall and the living area due to the previous tenant wanting to take it . i signed the tenancy agreement with no flooring to these area's and therefore put new carpets down. I now want to leave and have given notice to the landlord, who in return has said if i do not leave the carpets he will make things very difficulty for me. If there was no carpets when i signed the tenancy agreement can i take my carpets with me???? If so where do i stand with getting back my deposit as the property will be left in fantastic condition?
thank you. I will do that, any more advice would be great as i don't think i can sleep tonight, thank's again in advance
