A carpet is any loom-woven, felted textile or grass floor covering. The term carpet was also used for table and wall coverings, as carpets were not commonly used on the floor in European interiors until the 18th century. The hand-knotted pile carpet probably originated in Central Asia between the 3rd and 2nd millennium BC. Carpet-making was introduced to Spain in 10th century by the Moors. The Crusades brought Turkish carpets to all of Europe, where carpets were primarily hung on walls or used on tables. Only with the opening of trade routes in the 17th century were significant numbers of Persian rugs and carpets introduced to Western Europe floors.
The global carpet market for domestic and industrial end use is dominated by several manufacturing processes, such as woven, tufted, needlefelt and few other. Carpeting is an attached floor covering made of a heavy, thick fabric, usually woven or felted, often wool, but also cotton, hemp, straw, or a synthetic counterpart. Modern carpeting is often attached to the floor (or stairways) of a building and, when carpetry or carpet considered permanently attached, would be part of the real property which includes the building.

1 year old daughter fell off the changing table this morning. Has yours done this?
|
Argh, I am feeling so terrible. My 13 month old was on her changing table and I bent down to pick something off the floor but before I'd even stood up again she'd climbed off and fallen onto the floor. She landed on her face on the carpet and it's all red and her lip's swollen. She is otherwise fine now, but I feel so so

Is this a good scene?

I'm debating on whether this scene in my book should be included. It's NOT the cliche dream scene - as the protagonist is actually aware that it is a dream.
Also, I believe "he" is used too much. Any ideas on how to fix this and the scene's other flaws would be welcomed.

Carter sat in a tree-house near the house. The sun was shining brighter then usual that day. The grass was a beautiful sheet of emerald-green, the same color of Carter?s eyes. There was a small wind-chill that made Carter?s chestnut-brown hair flow to the side peacefully.
Carter sometimes referred to the tree-house as her home. She slept out
